I've been making these for over 15 years and they are excellent! Chop and freeze bananas and strawberries, put them into ziptop bags then freeze. Freeze fresh raspberries and fresh blueberries in baggies, too.

Once everything is frozen hard, overnight is best, then get out the blender! Add 12 ounces cold apple juice, 1/2 cup strawberries, 1/2 cup bananas, 1/4 cup blueberries, 1/2 cup raspberries. Now turn on the blender. It'll turn a gorgeous fuscia and will taste better than any store bought smoothie or sorbet you have ever tasted.

I never add dairy or sweetener to my smoothies, they're all 100% fruit. They are so good my kids and husband beg for them!!

This delicious low fat smoothie packs a powerful nutritional punch and gets your day off to a terrific start. I like to freeze over-ripe bananas that might otherwise get tossed. These make a terrific base for a smoothie any time.
INGREDIENTS:

* 2 frozen, ripe bananas
* 1 mango, peeled and sliced
* 10 ounces calcium fortified orange juice
* 1 cup low fat or fat free vanilla or mandarin orange yogurt

PREPARATION:
Cut banana into chunks. In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth. If the smoothie is too thick, thin with a little more orange juice. Pour into 4 glasses.

OK when making any fruit smoothie I highly recommend using frozen fruit instead of fresh. A) If you use frozen berries you can keep your smoothie at a frozen thick Constancy, without watering it down with ice (all the flavor with none of the water). B) With local supermarkets if find that fresh fruit are much more expensive than frozen varieties.

Here is my favorite:

1/2 bag of frozen berry mix (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries,

2-3 frozen whole strawberries

1/2 cup of low fat yogurt

1 tbls of sugar-free honey

3/4 cup sugar-free raspberry Crystal lite

Add all ingredients to the blender, except Crystal lite, if ingredients become stuck or too thick to blend the add Crystal lite to ensure smoothness.

There you go no added sugar, no added calories

Ok, get a bag of ice, and pour it in the blender, then get milk and pour it into the blender, then add some chocolate syrup, and turn the blender on. Pour it out into cups, and there you have a delicious smoothie! Or a milkshake! Whatever! Aren't they the same?
