My friend's father was diagnosed with lung cancer and has undergone the same type of treatment that you did, though without metastasis. I think that you are doing everything that you can to help yourself out, and you should know that your physician's really appreciate that. It sounds like you're compliant with treatment, are knowledgeable about your condition, have a healthy perspective on your condition, and have been otherwise able to maintain a positive, hopeful outlook on your prognosis and life in general. These are all the components to effective treatment, and I personally believe that perhaps one of the most important keys to cancer therapy is to be positive and hopeful, because the disease is often not -- I will hope and pray for you as well. Please know that you've done everything you can to improve your treatment regimen, and I sincerely hope that a miracle lies in wait for you!

I wish you the best with your treatment. I'm not sure if you had a question, but I do -- is it 30 treatments, or 30 Gray (the dose) that you're getting? I would clarify that because that sounds like a long course of treatment to me.
Radiation treatment anywhere can cause fatigue, but it's definitely more common and noticeable when the brain is treated so you may want a game plan for things you can cut back on if you have to (not everyone does).
You sound like you're handling this challenge well; keep up your spirits because the people that I see beating the odds are the ones who maintain a positive outlook on life and live each day to the fullest. I've learned to appreciate the joy of life from people like you, and I'm sure those around you do too. I wish you the best!

sounds like it rather is point IV maximum cancers meaning that the main cancers has metastasized (this is spredding). between the procedures that maximum cancers spreds is to flow into the lymphatic device. The lymphatic device extends throughout the time of the excellent physique, so is a possibility for the main cancers cells emigrate merely approximately everywhere. finding on the kind of maximum cancers the spots that the final public of maximum cancers cells return and forth to are the lungs, strategies, and liver. i'm somewhat perplexed with the help of what you attempt to declare approximately removing. My son had a minimum of six cancerous lymph nodes and distinctive tumors in the physique. He replace into point IV and alter into taken care of systemically with severe dose chemotherapy. the belief of systemic chemo is that it will bypass into the lympatic device and throughout the time of the physique and kill off the microscopic and small tumors, whilst shrinking the greater suitable ones (and optimistically killing those tumors too). This strategies-set labored for my son and systemic chemotherapy cleared his lymph device of ailment. i will wager that radiation is used the comparable way if the main cancers is localized. Are you asserting that the radiation did no longer artwork and the main cancers spred? Is the scientific professional recommending surgical operation to do away with the lymph node? Is he thinking some sort of systemic chemotherapy? i might talk on your oncologist, and in case you have faith him bypass with the help of his techniques. he's the well-being worker, it rather is his activity, he has the main adventure in treating the ailment. it rather is extremely significant that % a doctor which you have faith and can have faith will consistently have your maximum suitable hobbies in strategies. no matter what course that takes you in. in case you do not have that kind of courting at the same time with your oncologist, please get a 2nd opinion, or a 0.33, or fourth till you come across somebody you are able to refer to and comprehend what they intend to do. it is your physique, and your life. sturdy success. (and, no scientific professional can inform you the way lengthy you ought to stay . . this is in elementary terms a wager on their area . . no person is a statistic . . we are ALL persons).
