YES>All bones are bad but chicken bones are the worse.Bones can be fatal to a dog. They splinter & puncture the trake/stomach/intestines etc.And soup bones will wear the teeth down & cause dental problems.Take the bone away from the dog quickly.Do so by sneaking the dog,,prying the mouth open & making the bone fall out.If the dog has already swallowed the bone,,do not feed anything else until the dog goes to the bathroom again as to not have food push it through too quickly.Watch the dog during the next few days for labored or rapid breathing & check the stool for blood. If the dog appears sick in any way,,bring to the vet immediately.

Only COOKED chicken bones are dangerous. If your sweet dog is showing signs of discomfort, go to the vet immediately. Otherwise, watch for discomfort when your dog tries to go poo.
Raw chicken including the bones make up the bulk of my small dogs diet. Raw meat and bones are natural for dogs, in my opinion. I have been feeding my dog raw chicken with bones for 9 years without a problem. I never feed them cooked bones because cooking causes them to become brittle and splinter.
So I wouldn't worry too much unless your dog has symptoms like hacking, coughing, lack of appetite, or constipation. Good luck with your pooch.

I have never yet seen an animal choke on a bone of any kind, cooked or uncooked, from any animal. And Ive seen a lot of dogs and cats eat a lot of bones.
As far as I'm concerned it is just an urban myth. But Chihuahuas are expensive , arn't they? You may want to keep an eye on it anyway, but I certainly wouldn't be concerned

Our Vizla ate a bunch of cooked chicken bones. She humped up and looked like she was going to die. We Xrayed her stomach and it was full of bones. After a couple of days she settled down and returned to normal. A dogs stomach acid will dissolve a lot of bones. But we also feed extra fowls to the dogs and they love the bones as long as they are not cooked.

Only if he or she is choking, or displaying unusual changes in health such as vomiting. Call your vet to make sure, dogs aren't suppose to have chicken bones. They usually don't digest and they wind up vomiting the bones back up.
