We are all members of the Human Race. It affects me because I am a member.

Dear gursewak,

i think socially speaking there are times we are put in situations where we really do have to define race. In those situations i try to keep in mind that although people are different (be in culture, skin color, socio-economic status) the bigger picture is that everyone has the ability to love and encourage other people, and i think that's the most important thing.

i myself am from Taiwan but i used to tutor in a high school in the "hood" that is mostly African-American- so i really stood out like a "sore-thumb" but i found that even though the kids spoke what seemed like a different language at times, dressed differently, that people understand love and compassion, and people hurt and need encouragement, and so we can't pretend that there aren't racial distinctions at times- but if we look at the bigger picture it helps us to deal rightly in any situation.

Hope that helps. Kindly,

Nickster

race is a social construct creayed due to biological ignorance; largely determined upon birth place, culture, creed and skin color.

The term race is antiquated nonsense going back to innane science like Hitler's eugenics where using stupid non scientifi techniques such as observing skull bumps he determined white people are superior.

There is only one race, homosapiens.
