I've been working in Paint in Australia for about 5 years and I know of Nippon and Dulux. To be honest with you, there isn't a massive difference.
Particularly with the interior Acrylics, most of the bases that they use are supplied by the same company, so at the end of the day, there isn't a huge difference between them all.
Most paint brands will have different levels of paint, just stick with the most expensive in the respective brands. Generally with Paint, price will equal quality.
At the end of the day, choose the brand that has the colours you like, don't be afraid to mix and match brands.

Paint companies give the workers in the stores all sorts of training and gifts and stuff, so what the people in the shop say isn't always right! Sometimes they're just brainwashed!

So, have fun with it, and just remember price = quality!

I have mainly used Dulux and like the results. I use Dulux wash and wear for the walls inside the house and Dulux high gloss for the trim (my house has picture rails). On the outside we use the exterior paint that lasts for about 10 years, which is why we use it, who wants to paint every 2 years or so.

Well, I hope that helps and good luck choosing the colours because that is the truly tricky part! :)

it's not really the brand of paint you use , it's the type of paint you use and what kind of material you are painting . drywall for instance latex is fine and usually what is used. pretty much latex is OK on just about all interior surfaces with some exceptions of oil base. exterior depends on the material also be it wood new or old in this order, latex , but not over oil base. oil base can be applied over latex but sometimes a primer is rec amended. and then there is alkyd base which is sometimes the best. ask your local paint store for the best for your particular application. Sherwin Williams is my favorite.

That's weird Nippon is the Japanese word for their country. anyways I would paint it a color that would sale good for your specific location or would be a good color according to local people and would satisfy your tastes as well...besides that I cannot tell what the question is because they are not familiar, sorry about that
