the answer is elementary.
Fish #1 - 3 kg
Fish #2 - 5 kg
Fish #3 - 7 kg
Total weight is 15 kg
Fish #1 is one quarter of #2 & 3
Fish #3 is one kg less that #1 & 2.

x + y + z = 15
(x + y)/4 = z
x +1 = y + z

so 2x + 1 = 15 (subbing y + z in equation 1 with x + 1)
2x = 14
x = 7

y + z = 8
7 + y = 4z
y = 4z - 7
so, subbing in, 5z - 7 = 8
5z = 15
z = 3

x + y + z = 15
7 + y + 3 = 15
y = 5
