What should the question be?

I'm not sure why a certain girl is so repelled by me. guess it's not worth thinking about, but it sure would be nice to know, so that if she ever wants me later, she cannot say that I misread her. I guess maybe I have to ask a question, then she'll know she cannot back out of it later.

ask her if she's into you at all, and if she's not, then why not

Ask her, "If you could change one characteristic about me, what would it be?" It's straight and upfront. :)
