United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada (except Quebec). Dozens of others use English on a regular basis--India, for example, has 17 official languages, but English is very common so people can communicate across cultural/linguistic boundaries. In other countries, like Japan, China, much of Europe, English is used in the business place, and in some post-secondary schools--it allows more fluidity and connection across borders. For better or worse, English has become the lingua franca.
