You mean verbal , oral, based on auditory sensory input/output type of communication?
Then we would be communicating in a different way. like thought transmission (telepathy) or sending packets of information through empathic or intuitive suggestions, visual messaging, alteration of environment all through the other 4 senses.

That said, if there was no language, there would be no civilization. People would be like wild animals, albeit it really smart ones. If you cannot communicate, you cannot create ideas. If you cannot create ideas, you cannot build societies. It is impossible. Some language experts will even go so far as to say that language is the most important invention in human history. Without it, there would be no human history!
