Today morning when I was rinsing through my throat, i vomitted a bit and found a red dot on it. I was scared that it might be blood and hence i forced myself to vomit again. This time, there was no blood or anything red. What should I do?

Chill out and breath, you aren't dying. The red dot may have been a tiny drop of blood. If you'd just brushed, you might have had a bit of gum bleeding, or you may have just blew a tiny capillary when you gagged and barfed. Blood from the stomach is not red- it looks like coffee grounds because the blood clots up in the presence of all the stomach acid and turns dark brown. Red blood comes from above the stomach, and unless there is just lots of it it doesn't mean a thing. Forcing yourself to vomit is never a good idea, if you had really had a problem with bleeding, all the force of barfing wouldn't have helped anything. For a tiny spot of blood that was a lot of hard use of the body. In future, as long as you see the blood after a cough, sneeze, or even after barfing, and the blood is red, you can relax. You may have a tiny little tear, but the body is quite able to handle that. If you happen to keep spitting out blood, then it might be a good idea to seek out the ER- but for heavens sake don't make yourself barf anymore. If you do have a tear, you could certainly make things worse- and in a spot that you can't get to anyway. Just be a little more careful gargling in the future, and try to barf with a little less force.

If you vomited blood from your stomach, it would be almost black, not red. It might look like used coffee grounds or coke that you vomit when you have nothing else in your stomach. This is because the HCl in your stomach turns the blood almost black. If you have a tear in your esophagus or bleeding from your lungs, it might produce red in your vomit, but there would be a lot of it. More likely, however, it was a speck of red bell pepper from that taco or a bit of tomato from your salad that you ate for supper.

Sounds like you're adept at making yourself vomit. Bulimia is a disease and it can kill you. Never make yourself vomit unless you're told to do so by the poison control center.
