I'm 20 years old and I work with a 30-something year old man who constantly hits on me. I'm trying to figure out if he is playing me or if he geniuely interested in me. He claims I am the only person he likes but he shows all of the signs of a player. He is very friendly, flirty, charming and sly. He knows exactly what to say and how to say it. He always asks to visit me at my house but never invites me to his, only calls from his cell phone when he is alone and doesn't want me to call him. I can't explain everything because I don't know how to but he always compliments me and is just completely charming; but I knew guys like him, players, so I'm not falling for it yet. I also overheard another guy telling him that women don't like working with him again after he went out with them (the guy that may like me). Should I be concerned that this guy is a player?

He HAS asked me out plenty of times but I always turned him down, he hasn't given up yet and this has been going on for 2 weeks. But like I said, he's very charming and attractive so I'm kinda getting interested and I probably shouldn't be. I also won't sleep with him and I've told him but he insists he doesn't care about that, doubtful but you never know.

Looks can be deceiving, the best looking guys unfortunately turn out to be players sometimes. Yeah they can be real sweet and charming, but that is all apart of the G-A-M-E! It already seems as if you have the clues to the puzzle and you know the answer, but your not wanting to face it. Go with your gut instinct, you said that you met guys like that before so most likely he may be no different. I would ask other women at your job if he has approached them the same way and if yes, then you know wassup. If he is always wanting to come to your place and only calls from his cellphone then something may not be right, but then again you should always give the person the benefit of the doubt that they are being honest, I ultimately think that he is too old for you, you are only 20 so you are still young, Find someone that is more on your level.

Here are the red flags in your post that scream "Stay away from him":
1. He's in his 30s pursing a 20 year old.
2. He's showing signs of being a "player".
3. You used the word "sly" when describing him.
4. He knows exactly what to say and how to say it, showing he's either said it before or has it rehearsed.
5. He never invites you to his house.
6. He never calls from his house phone or when around other people.
7. Other women have stated they don't like being around him after dating him.
You already know the answer to your own question. If it were just #1, then I would say, no biggie. But, all those reasons together are yelling for you to stay away. Good luck. :)

Yes he is a player!
Once he gets bored he will dump you.
Go out with him if you're sure you don't want to be too involved. Dump him before he dumps you!!

Yeah. He probably is, possibly married too since he doesn't want anyone to get close to his personal life.
