depends on where you are for a start!

In the US it's between $200 and $500 an ounce; in Australia it's usually around the $300 mark; if the answer above is correct then in Europe it's around the E300 an ounce (30 grams to an ounce / E10 per gram X 30 = E300).

Second, it depends on what you're calling "regular". In big cities, "regular" dope is usually hydroponically-grown ("hydro") with buckeloads of chemicals and a kick like a mule. In the more rural areas you're more likely to find dope which is grown as a hobby by farmers and will cost a lot less...but it's again dependant on a few things - one is when you're chasing - if it's just before harvest time there won't be much around and it will be very expensive (in Aus it's often up to $400!) but if you go looking after the harvest (April / May in Aus...late summer) you're likely to be getting ripped off if you pay more than about $100 an ounce. The second factor is quality...the more you pay, the better the quality. $80 for below average up to $300 for really good, carefully bred and cured buds.
