Does the woman still expect the man to pay or pay it herself? Or split the bill?

Splitting it would be the proper way to doing it. You can pay if you insist. I think a man would find the quite odd if a woman treated him. Just start off as if you're going to pay, but if he insists on splitting it, then do so.

Absolutely!!! How can you expect a man to pay if he asks you, but when you ask him you still want him to pay??? Who would accept that deal?

i think the person who asked the other one out should pay. It would make the girl seem like a gold digger if she asked you out and then asked you to pay

the woman should pay the bill...no exceptions....just like if the man asked the woman...vise versa

depends on the woman...most expect to go 'dutch' (split)...but, she might expect you to pay....rarely will they pay unless they have money and knows you dont!

Generally the guy pays. If you are unsure, find out what is expected--everyone is different.

well if she asked you out onna date you shouldnt go. the girl doesent ask, the guy asks.
