First, find out if they have a registry. If they don't, then get them something to "spoil themselves" with. Gift certificate for a restaurant, a little money, a spa or massage package, etc. Use your imagination. I am sure ANY gift will be appreciated.

Well for a previously married couple you could go with a safe gift which would be something easy to split in case they get divorced again. Although if they are choosing to get married for a second time that most likely will not be a problem. So if they registered you could get them something on those lists otherwise I would think of something they like to do. For example if they like to sail you could get them a piece of art for their house of a sail boat or something. Or you could get them something to try together such as pottery making, dance classes or tickets to a comedy show that is coming up. If all else fails there is always money.

Photo album Scrapbook type.. let them keep their new memories safe...
also, when in doubt too.. ask.them.. that helps..
Even though some couples are over 50 , they may have experienced a bad divorce, or financial troubles which in some cases places them back to almost starting over as young couples again..

I agree with the Money or gift certificate unless they are registered somewhere which would be indicated in the invitation.

If they are wine drinkers, you could get them some nice wine to cellar.
