Why are there so many lies about Jesus ???

people say jesus is black, white..some people dont even care ..but when people say jesus is the son of god or he is the god..that i dont understand .how can you belive in a person that lives as long as any other person lives and breaths , eats like every other person only he said i am the son of god /i am god ..and people in despair followed him ..we are sosposed to think of him as god ..a regular person . today anybody could come up and say i am god come follow me and people would follow him..??? that doesnt make sence...i think god is not a person and jesus was just a person that wanted to take the lead/...prove me wrong plz

well i don't think anyone can prove you wrong or right. i mean no one knows what happened back then. for all we know the bible could have been a really old book that was written by someone who doesn't matter. someone name king james. but, i will say i do believe in jesus and god. and i can't tell you why i just do. i mean even though i don't see him or can't see him. have u ever seen a 1000 bill? me neither but it doesn't mean it doesn't exist

wait a minute, someone said jesus is 100% man and 100% god, how in the world is that possible. where is that from, let me guess someone thought of it, wrote it, and called it the BIBLE.

black or not it shouyld not make a difference, it should be all about the message. If you know the history of israel, then you would understand why people would say he was black.
Israel was not a country back then, more like a territory, where persians and palestinians live. And there are black persians and palestinians.

Jesus never claimed he was a god, he clearly says he was a messiah, and it means a messenger. read the BIBlE AGAIN

I cannot prove it to you. I was raised knowing Jesus, black or white, and he's as real to me as anything. It sounds just like an invisible friend to atheists, and hey, they could be right. Nevertheless, I asked him to never let go of me and I am happy that he hasn't. No religion, no bible full of nonsense, no scandal, no education can change the fact that he's my friend. I cannot deny it. None of us knows if the truth we see is really THE TRUTH. We see what we can see.

I can understand why you'd ask that question, and I think you must see things for yourself. Your path is sacred. Do not be afraid. There is no punishment for being true to yourself. That would be stupid, and Jesus can't be stupid, can he.

Jesus did not wish people to use religions the way they do, as weapons. Religions mostly pollute what is sacred and bring shame on the source. It's abhorant.

So don't you worry. Any reasonable person in your position would have the doubts you profess. If you need to believe, then you'll be led to the experiences that will bring that about. Love never fails. It says that in the bible too.

The lies about Jesus are from people who don't know Him personally. He was born in Israel, so He looks like some one from there not black or white.

Praying is the start to get to know Him. Jesus is the only 100% man and 100% God. He died on the cross for our sins and no person has ever done that. You will find Him if you seek Him with all of your heart.

Jesus proved that he was God while on the earth. He is still proving that he is God daily in what he does. It is a very complicated subject that we can not even fully understand. You can't bein to see God's grace and power until you believe yourself. It is hard to understand something that you do not believe. If Jesus was just a man then why is it that demons are cast out by his name. You have no idea how big of a question you are asking.

Satan has you right where he wants you, confused and doubting God/Jesus! Read the Word of God. Satan is the father of lies. He robs, steals and destroys!. He's robbing you of a relationship you could have with Jesus, stealing your soul and destroying you now and in eternity if you end up dying in your sins by not accepting Jesus, your Savior and Master of your life. We all make one of two choices whether we are aware of this or not. The choice of Jesus or satan as our master. To not deliberately choose is to choose satan. So many people are being deceived by satan, just as it says in the Bible. Jesus died and resurrected. Did any other god or person do that? No! Our God lives forever and forever. I cannot prove you wrong, that's something you'll have to do on your own. If you read the Bible, christian answers here on this forum, listen to christian pastors etc and still do not believe, then you do not want to believe. Pray to your Father in Heaven thru Jesus to soften your heart, open your blinded eyes and open your deafened ears - He WILL listen if your heart is sincere. Do not rely on all the lies people tell. Only trust someone's words if they are bible based!! Discern with the Holy Word of God or you will be forever confused and damned to the lake of eternal fire which is what satan wants!! There will be no accepted excuses at Judgement!!

It doesn't make sense that someone could just walk up and say they are god and get followers. Yet it happens all the time in cults around the world. Some of them even go on to become major religions. There is just no telling what people will believe these days.

You're right. Jesus was either a lieing maniac or he was who he said he was. Who's to decide? Well, certainly not you. If he is God, nothing you can say will change the fact. If he isn't, then you're right. It's impossible to truly know with scientific evidence, isn't it? You can't prove it either way. That's one reason some choose to believe, because they know it takes faith and they want to believe in something. By the way, many have claimed to be God and you couldn't name any of them, but those who believe Jesus was in human form, but part of God, believe in him because if the movement has survived this long, there must be something to it.

Because Jesus is a fictional Bible character there is no factual basis on which to pin anything down, the Bible portrayal is pretty one dimensional and is vague on detail. So people tend to try to make stuff up to fill in the sketched picture with a bit more detail of their own.

He also knew everyone's thoughts and could do any miracle including stopping time, walking through locked doors, walking across the sea, or calming the wind and the seas of a severe storm instantly at will.

God is God.He can be whom ever he wants to be.God loves us so much(his creation) that he transformed himself into flesh and bones,as Jesus Christ.He wanted us to understand his will better and came here to teach us.Yes he created us in his image and we disobeyed him.In Genesis,it says that he regretted creating us,because we were so sinful.But he gave us a second chance and free will.I don't know of any other plan for eternal life,but that which is in the Bible.I want to live with God when I die,so I will not try to question his judgments and why this or why that,I just simply believe.Peace!!
