Actually, my grandma was the one who took care of me since I was 5 months old. Now, I'm 14 years old, my mama want me to live with her in her place. I don't really like her idea.

You are a grown teen. How about talking to your mom about it. Is it cause grandma lets you get away with murder? Does grandma supervise you responsibly? Does mom just want to walse into your life out of the blue? Does mom want what is best for you? Talk to mom and perhaps ask her to go to counseling with you so you two can meet somewhere in the middle. You only get one mom, so see if it can work out.

I can understand your not wanting to leave your grandma's. Maybe your mother understands something about your grandma's age now and her health (not that it is bad health or any problems but just the general changes that people have as they get older) that makes her want to offer to have you with her and give your grandma more time alone. Maybe she thinks your grandma will worry more when you are a teenager and she wants to help your grandma. All of those are good reasons. Your mother may want to spend more time getting to know you when you are a teenager and more independent, too.
I'd go to live with your mother and call your grandma every day if you can. Go stay with your grandma on holidays and vacations.
Maybe you don 't like the idea but I'd do it anyway and give it a chance. You are not going to lose the relationship with your grandma so don't worry.

At fourteen you can legally choose who you want to live with. I would be honost with my mama. I'm sure she feels guilty about not raising you and wants to make it up to you. Instead of making this a fight tell her that you love her and thank her for letting you grow up with your grandma who was able to take care of you when she could not. Tell her your not mad at her and that you know that your she did what was best for you and that she does not have to make things right. Tell her you are happy and that's what's most important.
Good luck and I am so sorry you are in this situation. Sometimes us Mamas feel so guilty we don't think about everything all the way through.

Hi, well the best thing that you can do is let your grandmother know that you don't want to leave and also tell your mother just the same, you are happy where you are so I think that your mother should respect that.

After all I think that your grandmother should have the final say after all she is the one that has been their for you all these years.

Good luck.

give your mom a chance to take care of you, its her right as your mother but if it really makes you uncomfortable, tell her that you prefer to stay with your grandma!

Tell your mom you love her, but you want to stay whit you're grandma. Maybe you could try offering to live with your mom for the summer so you don't have to interfere with school.
