We will argue points on Sunday but on the rest of the days of the week we rarely say a word about God?
when I realized that was what i was doing i started to do more, now I am a GOD Called Evangelist and my life is more fulfilling. A TRUE CHRISTIAN IS ALWAYS READY TO PROCLAIM GOD AND HIS WORD>

Angelz, I know I am not a god or GOD. I am glad you talk to GOD.
In answer to other questions, yes I do go Door to Door, I do not force myself on anyone. If they do not wish to talk, i ask if they will take a card and call or email me if they need prayer or just wish to talk about GOD.

This has been the best open response I have seen. I respect everyone and wish you all a good day, ALEIII

Dear ALE3,

i think your intention is wonderful to encourage Christians to be Christians not just on Sundays but every day of the week. I'm sure being on yahoo answers you repeatedly see this as a common complaint of Christians by non-Christians.

However, i want to suggest that it's unfair to make assumptions that Chrisitans are not walking the walk on Mondays thru Saturdays. i come onto yahoo answers to encourage and bless people, and not just because its Sunday but Sunday night happens to be when i have some free time, but throughout the week any chance we get as 1 Timothy instructs us we should be ready to preach the Word. And as Francis of Assisi said- preach the gospel at all times and if necessary use words.

We should let our lives reflect what we believe about God and also have the boldness to proclaim that as God gives us opportunity.

Encourage your brothers and sisters and maybe the thought is that many people who are only "Sunday Christians" are struggling believers who need to be picked up by their brothers and sisters, or possibly not believers at all.

Hope that helps. Kindly,

Nickster

ALE3,
I agree with you. I am also not afraid to talk to anyone about Christ Jesus and do so at any time the subject of GOD or religion comes up. I am also not opposed to setting up a Bible Study with anyone who will do so. Matthew 28:18-21 is Christ's last words to HIS Apostles and it should be remembered by each and every Christian. The Discioples who HE picked were not experts in the religious field. In fact several of them were fishermen who followed HIM to HIS Death and then their own. The Tax Collector was an apt writer but was never a friend to any Jew either. Yet they were the ones who spread GOD's WORD throughout this world. What a job they did! We can too. Have a great day and a wonderful week. May GOD guide you and I in HIS TRUTH!
Thanks,
Eds

That's true. We should focus on God at all times and His word. Sunday just sets the pace for Christians. It renews our spirit to continue the rest of the week with good intentions of worship. But we should alway have The Bible close to out hearts and memorized scriptures daily to help our decision-making, and daily lifestyle change.

I spend time with God 24/7/365. Iam not just a once a week, dust off the bible, go to church person. I go to Mass several times a week(or at least watch the Mass on t.v. if my week is hectic) and I spend numerous hours a day reading and meditating on the Word of God.

I talk to God any time during the day or night, not just on Sunday

I am always ready to answer anyone at any time about a question of God. I don't however push Jesus on anyone because I believe the Holy Spirit will use us when He desires to use us. He knows when to plant and when to harvest. I'm just His mouthpiece when the time is right.

Many people also serve God just to get that ticket to Heaven.

We should serve God because we love God, not just to get to heaven.

Genuine love for God is shown when God is our God every day and not just on Sunday.

Amen. Some people are afraid of the reaction they will get from other people but according to the Great Commission, we are all called to take Christ to the World.

I like to talk about God's word on Thursday.
Other days are good for it too.
