No she isn't going to break up with you and you shouldn't feel stupid. You were right for letting her know how you feel, never hold back your feelings. By her saying that she will eventually be able to trust you means that she is sticking with you. A lot of guys say that they love someone, but they may have been conditioned to say it because of something that happened. I feel that words are just words and unless there is some type of action to back it up it doesn't really mean much to me. You said that you think that you may love her, well if you truly feel that way, show her! When she sees that your serious, she will be able to start trusting you. Showing someone that you love them isn't just about buying them gifts and what not, its about being there for them when they need support. Continue to be a loving, caring, supporting, and faithful BF and you will win over her love and trust! Good Luck.

I doubt she'll break up with you. She was probably hurt by a lot of guys in the past, and has some trust issues obviously, but her being open and honest about it is a really good sign. Just be there for her and show her that you really DO love her, and above all, don't do anything to try and hurt her. Good luck!

No. It's sweet that you think you might love her, and it's great that you told her.
She's also right in wanting to take her time to decide. Love is a powerful emotion. Give her the time she needs. Continue on like you used to. And make sure she can trust you because it sounds like that's really important to her.
You sound like a really nice guy with a great girlfriend, so don't worry cause everything will work out!

Sounds like she's had a major hurt in her life and is not ready to fully let herself fall in love. Be thankful that you two can communicte about it Don't feel wierd, you were honost. If everything else is going good don't focus on those three words. I would only have a problem with it if it went on over a year. She should feel secure with you by then.

I think you'll be fine. Girls just take longer to trust and love than guys. Also if she can't trust then there could be a reason from her past, which you two might have to overcome together.

Just be there for her and treat each other with respect. Eventually more trust will occur and it will be even better. Remember that actions always speak louder than words.

Don't feel stupid! It's just as hard to get good news as it is to get bad news. Let her have time to digest what you told her!
