i really like this boy, and i want to tell him, because i've been hiding it for over 4 years! i've liked him that long. but i don't know how to tell him, and i don't want to just say, "i like you", because there's no way i would have the nerve to do that. please help me!

Assuming he already sort of knows you, just go up to him, and say something like, "Hey, you know what? You and I should hang out sometime." If you say that, you are basically telling him that you like him, and in a easy way that puts no pressure on either of you. What I mean is try to start it off on a friend vibe, and not the whole "I really like you" thing that most people normally feel. Just ask him if he'd like to hang out or something, and go from there. I bet that at the least you'll make a friend...and you can see where it goes from there.
Don't worry about it, and just go for it...life is just too short, and before you know it, another 4 years will have passed...do you want to still be wondering when that time comes?

You should talk to him and find out yours things in common. Which might lead on to him asking you if you want to go to the movies or something else you found in common with each other!!
I would just start to talk to him and show him that you are interested in him. Try to make him laugh but not to hard or you look like your desperate to talk to him. Do not hang out with any other of your friends that are boys while talking/flirting with him!! As he might be less likely to pay attention to you since you already have a boy!!
As soon as you think/notice that he is paying more attention to you ask one of your closest friends that is a if it looks like he is interested in you!!
Trust me that is how most s have done to me! It will work as long as you don't say something stupid or act stupid in front of him.
My final advise is "That action are stronger than words"
Go up to him casual and just say want to hang out since like my friends are all gone. (Throw a sad card out there) He might be like "Awe its OK" BINGO He will probably hug you!! Then you hug him too and make sure it is a long hug or it might just be like a "Helping Hug" not a Loving Hug"

you should try a greeting card if you feel shy about telling him in person. or have a glass of wine to help calm your nerves and just tell ask him if he would be interested in going out on a date (he should get the hint)!! Good Luck!

you don't. I majorly stress this point to everybody. Stating your feelings to somebody like that destroys the mystery. If someone knows you like them they don't spend that time wondering about it and they never worry about losing you. The attraction is lost.
Flirt subtly. You want to appear as if you totally like him one day, and then don't even notice him the next. It will keep him wondering if you like him and he will be psyched when you ask him out.
the major bonus for asking him out is that you know he likes you, he knows you like him...but there's still an air of "what if she doesn't?"

Just show him that u love him. Make ur time with him meaningful. Search at his heart and find love in it. Make it well and just say... i'm caring about u. Is it love? Make him answer that question. If him answer yes..then u have a change. If not...maybe he already got his love.

Unless you've been slashing his bicycle tires, he already knows you like him. He is either a wuss or he doesn't feel the same way about you. Otherwise, he would have already done something about it.

I would drop hints to let him know that your interested and see what he does with it. If he is, then you can let him make the move or if you see that he's feeling you, you could make the move.
