I am fostering two 10 week old Pharaoh Hounds.... Sisters. one is black one is all golden... I was thinking Cleo for the black one and Ra' for the Gold one.... But I don't know.

Any suggestions with Egyptian names that are easy to say and spell?

Here is a list of female Egyptian names, and their meanings> http://www.20000-names.com/female_egyptian_names.htm
I like Ebe`...means 'wonderful'.

Ebio means 'honey' ..that would go with her coloring! (but sounds an awful lot like Cleo)

Isis and Amenti (both goddesses, and both beautiful names).

Isis is associated with life, and Amenti is associated with death. Perfect for golden and black Pharaoh hounds!

Femi, meaning 'love' and Amisi, meaning 'flower'.

Or if you wanted to go by colour: Kanika, meaning 'black' and Kebi/Ebio, meaning 'honey'!

Since they are girls, you cannot have a Ramses. Nefertiti and Hatshepsut would be in order.
