Since the women can be standoffish towards the idea of being with a younger man, i figure i can lay on the floor toward her feet, and pet her leg when she is watching TV.

Oh God, how old are you? If you're younger than 17, and she's over 18, give it up because she can be arrested for that, even if it's your idea. Otherwise, hang around her, compliment her, ask her advice about things. Be a good listener. Make sure that whenever you see her, you've bathed that day, and bathe again if you've played any sports, because young guys tend to have bad hygiene. Read the newspaper and watch the news so that you have things to talk about. Learn about her interests and what she likes, and talk about those things. If she is watching TV, instead of petting her leg, offer her a foot massage. Ask her how to do it, and what feels good. Back or neck massages are good, too.

UUUHH try talking to her. Casual lunches and honesty. Older women are done with childish games that are often related with dating, they have already been married and played the game of dishonesty and misleads. Then see if you are really interested in this woman. It is not easy to have relationship with older people they are more mature and set in their way. While us younger people are less experienced and excitable. Trust me with what I say.. my wife is 20 yrs. my elder and we have never looked back. Good luck

I don't know about all that buddy.......
The older women I've dated like a mature man that they can't find in there own age bracket, but they also like them to be different. I would say just be fun and show her a good time. Be yourself, that usually works.
