Well since I don't personally know your friends, I will do my best.... If they didn't register anywhere for gifts and they are going to Vegas to get married they probably didn't want something traditional and wanted to save money (a lot of people have destination weddings because that way only there very close friends will come and they don't have to spend lots of money on a big wedding for acquaintances). Are they buying a house or do they already live together? If you are short on money I would get something small and nice the that they can use in their new home together (like a nice picture frame for wedding photos or small piece of artwork). If money is not an issue...cash is always welcome and can be really great for a new couple preparing for a big purchase like their first home.

You could get them some good taste. ;)
Seriously, though, you don't want to lug a gift around the airport and hotel, and eventually the wedding just to have them lug it around Vegas and then the hotel and then the airport...
Bring a card or something and explain that you have a gift for them at home. I'm sure they will appreciate not having any extra luggage.
Maybe you can find an idea here:

Hope this helps!

We have been set up interior the golden nugget by ability of our commute agent from Dallas. We flew interior the exciting jet to Las Vegas, we arrived then rented a convertable corvette, which I in all risk does no longer do returned because of the fact the taxis can take you any the place. as quickly as we instructed the motel team we've been getting married they completely went out of a technique to make us chuffed, the room became beautiful, even had telephones interior the bathing room!!! We went to hire our tuxedo and her wedding ceremony gown and it became wiped sparkling and sent to our motel rooms, on a similar time as we've been out on the city stuffing our faces. Our family participants arrived day after right this moment. We awakened that morning and have been given our licence from the court abode which only befell to be correct around the line. Then we've been given dressed for our ceramony. Then we've been picked up by ability of a limo correct on time. We headed off to the little chapel of plant existence observed by ability of our households, I prefer we invited greater people, however the chapel had a stay video feed that anybody ought to be certain on the information superhighway. It became a marvelous journey I acctually cried correct while the preacher started speaking ( I lost some men factors that day lol). i assumed the journey became marvelous.

Call ahead to the connoisseur of the hotel and try to arrange for tickets to one of the shows. Then its something they can take home with them a special night out. If you don't want to do this leave the gift at home and give it to them later .A forgotten piece of etiquette is that you have 1 year to gift the newlywed couple

Are they registered anywhere? If they are, I would check the registry. There is nothing wrong with giving them the present after the wedding if it is a destination wedding, and it would be better off when they get home or you could give it to them before the wedding.

Depending on your finances and how close you are to this couple you could all chip in and give them a "check"....most couples could use the money....did they "register" for a gift at a department store...many girls do...this way you would know what they want or could use...the gift could be sent to their home (you don't have to bring it with you) if it's a check....you would put it in a wedding card or "special" gift envelope

Is there not going to be any shower or dinner party?
If so just take to the wedding.
Now what to buy them- How about just giving money, or a gift certificate? (It seem most want this today more over gifts)
Just give anything from the heart.

transporting back who knows how many gifts can be a awesome feat.. and something could get lost or stolen, I'd opt to give them a gift when they return.. and a card in Vegas.. with a special gift of a day spa or tickets to a show or something..
