they'll eat their own feces?

No, it's because of hygiene, you can't completely eliminate worms in dogs, only control them. If you allow a dog to poo inside, it won't care where it does it and you're left cleaning up and disinfecting a mess once they've tracked it into your carpet, it's just easier to have them do it outside especially if they get diarrhea!

Not necessarily. Who wants dog poop all 'round the house?

Dogs can eat feces but usually they'll only do that if there is a reason to.

no, duh, they take the dog out so the house don't stink , if a dog is going to eat it's own poop it's going to eat it outside too, there is no scientific reason why some dogs eat it and some dogs don't, maybe they should try to feed the dog more often

Dog poop inside the house stinks, plus it is harder to clean off carpet areas etc. Much easier to pick up or hose outside

No! The reasons dog owners take the dog(s) outside are: it stinks & it is unhealthy for all concerned. If you are this ignorant you shouldn't have pets.
