someone invented that alphabet song to help students learn the letters of the alphabet and it sounded best when it was in that order

becasue it has to be in alphabetical order. lol... no it actually comes from the greek's alpha-beta-gamma alphabet, and it's that way becasue noone has given a good reason to change it.
