I have some and they are called Wanderschuhe. In other words, hiking boots. If you mean boots like for construction workers they would be called Arbeitsstiefel - work boots.

Dienststieffel is spelled wrong, and is not even listed as a word in the German dictionary (nor is the term
"service boots") So these are the closest ones I could find to your meaning:
Feldstiefel would be- "field boots"
Wanderstiefel-"hiking boots"
Stahlkappenstiefel-"steel toed boots"
Kampfstiefel-"army boots"
Hows that?

protective boots are called "Sicherheitsstiefel", generally work boots are called "Arbeitsstiefel" (there are norms for both)
