that will depend on the size of the athlete, the intensity of the sport, relative humidity, temperature, etc. one thing is for sure athletes need a heck of a lot more water than 64 oz. I would shoot for a good gallon, I know in the summer time I can put 2 down easy but I also live in Vegas.
