whenever we try to take away smth from him, he tries to bite us. Or if he is sleeping and we try to cuddle, he gets PISSED. Is this normal? If not, what should we do?

Never bother a sleeping dog.You must find ways to stop the dog from snapping and one way is to stop doing everything you know that will cause it to snap.

he is acting like the alpha dog king of the house. You need to change that take his privileges away no couch bed or laps. don't leave his food bowl down either when you feed him take it away from him when he walks away until the next meal.if he's aggressive with his toys give him a treat when you take it from him. This will teach him that when you take something from him he gets something better. letting him sleep or sit with you either in bed or couch makes him equal and now he is Superior then you take this away from him only let him up on the couch if you have invited him same with the bed but that will take a night or two of him not being allowed to sleep with you.also put your hand on the back of his neck holding him firmly but not hurting him and make him lie down hold him there until he let's out a big sigh this means he gave in do not let him roll on his back u do not want this submitting behavior he will not learn from this position!! try the lay down exercises 4 times a day but make sure you have time to wait for him to sigh if not he will win and still be alpha.
