There are only certain parts of life where we are truly in control, all other experience is just that...experience. These various experiences are temporary, fleeting and very fluid and impermanent.
What are those things then which we control..?
We control out Actions which onclude thoughts, words and deeds and all these things require choice. we can decide what choices we make, we cannot choose other's choices, however we can choose our choices so that the Consequences for other's happiness is positive.
Becoming Spiritually centered can be equated to ridding our consciousness of outside negative influences. By this I mean purposefully choosing Actions by thinking first of the Consequences of our Actions to others before actually acting. In this way we choose the Consequences to be positive for others even before choosing to act. It takes concentrated effort to achieve and lots of practise but is very well worth the effort involved.
We cannot control our life as the situations we become involved in are beyond us, but we can affect the outcomes of our interactions with other Beings positively if we so choose. In this way we help ourselves by practise to become Spiritually centered. The outcome for ourselves is irrelevent but it will positively affect our happiness as well as other's happiness in the long term by adjusting our thoughts outwards to include others rather than exclude others.

one of the fruit of the Spirit is self control as in Galatians 5:23 this means i can freely live for God without any reservation. That is if i feel like praying i can pray, read the word of God, serve God in purity. The self control should be towards pleasing God and serving Him then i can say i am Spiritually Centered.

I am spiritually centered when God is in control instead of me and that usually happens when I'M in the word reading.

Not really, I just feel confused. I never know the answers to questions I'm asking, and will probably never find out at all.

No spirits here, TYVM. Other control factors exist (I'd speed more often if the tickets weren't so pricey.)
