According to the way many live their lives, people enjoy doing things that benefit them, make them happy, and other things I can't put my hand on; people simply love free-will. Heaven is considered to be a place where there is no sin and thus no evil. But according to the free will defense, there can be no free will without evil. So how can there be free will in heaven?

If everyone sins, everyone does evil, if everyone does evil, everyone has free will. Therefore free will and evil co-exist. Those who claim that evil and free will do not have to co-exist, you are saying you are not a sinner, therefore perfect in the eyes of many.... Unless you somehow become a new person when going into heaven... but I never heard of this argument.

Well, what do you expect? Religion is full of contradictions and hypocrisy.
I wouldn't want to go to heaven for an entirely different reason though...I don't want to deal with the self-righteous assholes in there.

Since we live our life according to our own will & wish. For that reason we don't care about anything wether it is right or wrong . when we start thinking that there is a purpose of our creation & this whole universe is created by Mighty & Powerfull creator to him we all have to revert so it is better to obey him instead of our own will & wish . If u adopt this then u will definately rewarde heavon & mind one thing heaven is the rewarding place not a testing place as this world is so in life after death ther will b no evil at all. This compitition is untill the last moment i.e the compitition between the right & wrong.

There will be free will, but that does not mean there will be any dissenters. The history of the planet will be recorded in heaven and every one in the universe will remember what a plague sin was. No one will ever again doubt God or question his government. So there will be free will, but everyone will agree that God is fair and right.
Oh come on timster, you don't wanna hang out? It'll be fun.
We do not go to heaven sinful. I can't believe you have never heard that said before. When Jesus returns we will be changed in the twinkling of an eye, we will get new bodies and our sinful human nature will be gone forever.

Maybe you are looking a bit too deeply into the whole free will thing. What i believe at least (and take it for what you will) God gave us free will on Earth to decide how we want to live our lives. We then by the way we live determine if we go to heaven or hell. Don't forget hell neglects free will as much as heaven does because of the fact, at least in my opinion, we do evil deeds in hell, just as we do good deeds in heaven. So whether you believe in heaven and hell or in just one or the other, or perhaps you believe there is just nothing when you die, anyway you look at it there is no free will after death. However to even try and grasp what is after death is so far beyond our comprehension as humans we should not dwell over it, thus we would be God if we knew the answer, or already dead.

There is free will in heaven but since satan and his demons pulled their stunt with Adam and Eve the heavenly hosts are watching for the outcome. Jesus will abyss satan and his demons in the war of God the Almighty at Armageddon and after 1000 years satan will be let loose again to tempt humankind on earth...you know the meek ones that inherit the earth ...well they really do...and the 1000 years was to give them a chance to learn about Jehovah and also for the dead to be resurrected.
If the meek and the resurrected ones pass the final test on earth...satan will be bound and thrown into the lake of fire..the second death..and his followers also..man as well as fallen angels...
Yes even humans have free will ...God is allowing them to pursue their desires..But he surely will punish the wrongdoers.

Becoming a follower of Christ involves a dying to self described in numerous ways by the apostle Paul. It is where Christ becomes the center of our lives and we submit ourselves to his will and desire for our lives. This world and it's message of self gratification, and numerous self serving agendas is in constant conflict with trying to live the Christ centered life. When God does finally establish his Kingdom here on earth, remember that we pray 'thy kingdom come', the old earth will be passed away and the conflict to God's will does not exist. God created man with free will in order that LOVE might exist. Without free will we cannot choose to love God. If we have no choice it is not love. Love cannot exist without freewill but freewill can exist without evil because freewill has already been 'crucified with Christ'.

Your logic is flawed... there can be free will without evil. Evil is a choice just like doing good is a choice. Just because one has the free will to choose evil doesn't mean that evil is necessary for free will to exist....

Heaven will be a place where you have no people with mental problems.
Like killers,rapist,pedophiles,and so on.
Evil will no longer be a part of daily life.
Free will in Jesus ,is the only person who really has full power.
Those who sin ,are really being controlled by evil.<><

Free will and evil are not equal. Evil doesn't actually exist in a philosophical sense. Evil is the absence of good, just like darkness is the absence of light. I hope it helps you.

The evil deceptor and liar (satan and demons) will not be there to tempt us! Free will does not have to include evil. Heaven is sinless and perfect. Why would you not want to go to a perfect paradise, living with God/Jesus? And we are perfected in Heaven.

I would rather go to heaven than the alternatives. I certainly hope free will is suspended or at least the struggle to have to fight sin which in my experience is pleasurable only for a short while until I have to face the consequences.
