we have a really nice drop in sink and was wondering if we can buy the kit to make it and under mount sink under the granite counter tops we just had made?any help would be great or if you've done did it work well?

Not going to work well. Drop in sinks have a raised rim and clamping method underneath and if you put it under the counter, I think you will find in most cases the raised rim will leave too much of a gap where the sink touches the granite. Normally, a drop in sink is deeper than an under-mount, so if you put a drop in underneath, it will be quite a reach to the bottom and there may be drain connection problems. If you just had the counters made, then the hole should be exactly sized for the under-mount and a drop in sink that is supposedly the same size will fit inside the opening, perhaps looking silly.

There should be a drop in sink that fits down inside the granite top nicely with just a rim sitting on the granite but the undermount would need too much caulking or silicone and it doesn't look very neat. We have to keep taking the old stuff off and putting new silicone around it to make it look better. Get expert advice or you won't be happy unless you are real handy.
