So a girl I know was telling me that (in her opinion anyway) when women are in a bar, they already know which guy they want from the get go. Nothing any other guy does will make much of a diff.
They want that guy, and they let him know by maybe a glance or a smile, or a flirty move but they're not interested in anyone else.
What do you women think?
I mean we all know you go to bars to meet guys just like guys go to meet girls, with guys it's a lot simpler. We go after the women we are attracted to and 90% of them shut us down.

Sorry I don't do bars.But When I was single,I never went to bars.Who wants to pick up a drunk?How desperate can you get?
There are a lot of good places to meet people.
But then the people today are so different,be your self.

She might see someone and decide to let him know she's interested, but you just don't know someone from looking at them. Women are just as nervous in a bar as men are! Ya'll are thinking about how to approach a woman and deal with potential let down and so are women...on top of that, if she's not interested, she will probably be nice about, but she's also scared she's gonna have to deal with a drunk butthead who won't take no for an answer etc. If you are interested in a woman, and you can dance, ask, "If you aren't here with anyone would you care to dance?" Its nice, and she'll probably be nice back, no matter what her answer is. I would say not to ask to buy a drink, cuz a lot of women won't accept them. Thats cuz of the bad experiences with the men who expect some booty in return for alcohol.

well i dont know about that, i believe us girls do pick the one we want and we do make glances and smiles and stuff like that to that one person, but we still scan the radar for someone better all the time, we might just have missed you. some guys send drinks to ladies, this helps them get at least the girl's attention so that the girl can check the guy out. but this act is so cliche but it works to be checked out, because some bars are really big or really crowded. if you want a certain girl at a bar but you think she might like someother guy, try something different instead of sending a drink. i really have no idea for you though, maybe start a game like a drinking game, go over to the girl or girls, most girls go in pairs or more. and invite them over to play, the more they hang with you and your friends the better they get to know you, and thus forgetting the other guy. but like you said most girls turn guys down 90% of the time.

Don't try to generalize, it depends on the woman and her motivation.
If its love she wants - she will ask a lot of questions.
If its lovin' she wants - she will might not even bother getting a last name.
Sounds like your REAL question is how to tell if you might have a chance with a chick that doesn't seem to notice you circling... the answer is... YES we can tell if a guy is interested. And YES, if we are not...we will politely ignore you. Save yourself the shut-down.

I think a woman might have a really good idea of which guy they want, but nothing is set in stone. I mean the guy shes interested in might do something to offend her or maybe some other guy might walk in the door that she finds more attractive.

I think that when a girl is in her club mode she doesn't necessarily go and choose one specific guy...she wants all eyes on her not just one. At least for me, when I go to a club I'm in a flirty mood and I just want confident men to come up buy me a drink and dance. I could dance with one guy or four...I don't look for Mr. Right at the club you just gotta let it happen and have fun!

No, in my opinion it takes a while. After all, what if a better one comes in later? Then you might want to ditch your original choice and go for him. Or what if the one you want is gay, or just doesn't like you (or vice versa)? You have to keep your options open, cause you never know what will happen.
