Psalm 121
A Song for the Ascents.
I shall raise my eyes to the mountains.
From where will my help come?
2
 My help is from Jehovah,
The Maker of heaven and earth.
3
 He cannot possibly allow your foot to totter.
The One guarding you cannot possibly be drowsy.
4
Look! He will not be drowsy nor go to sleep,
He that is guarding Israel.
5Â
Jehovah is guarding you.
Jehovah is your shade on your right hand.
6Â
By day the sun itself will not strike you,
Nor the moon by night.
7
Jehovah himself will guard you against all calamity.
He will guard your soul.
8
Jehovah himself will guard your going out and your coming in
From now on and to time indefinite.
There are 15 songs of the ascents included in the Psalms. These were joyful psalms sang by the Israelite worshipers when traveling or ascending to the lofty city of Jerusalem situated high in the mountains of Judah as they joyfully attended the three great annual festivals there.
Stanzas 3-5 are especially comforting. The 3rd stanza reassures me that it is impossible for my Helper to be drowsy or go to sleep so that his help and protection are constant. Stanza 5 speaks of God as a shade on his worshippers right hand Usually the right hand of a warrior was his sword-wielding hand, and it was unprotected by the shield in the left hand. Therefore, a friend would stand or fight at his right hand as an upholder and protector. This circumstance is used metaphorically with regard to God’s help and protection to those serving him.

Psalm 91.
Especially the first few verses. Isn't this beautiful?:
"Anyone dwelling in the secret place of the Most High Will procure himself lodging under the very shadow of the Almighty One. I will say to Jehovah: “[You are] my refuge and my stronghold, My God, in whom I will trust.” For he himself will deliver you from the trap of the birdcatcher,
From the pestilence causing adversities. With his pinions he will block approach to you,
And under his wings you will take refuge.
His trueness will be a large shield and bulwark. You will not be afraid of anything dreadful by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in the gloom,
Nor of the destruction that despoils at midday. A thousand will fall at your very side And ten thousand at your right hand;
To you it will not come near. Only with your eyes will you look on And see the retribution itself of the wicked ones. Because you [said]: “Jehovah is my refuge,” You have made the Most High himself your dwelling;"
When I read that, it gives me chills to think of how much power we have backing us up, as long as we stick to Jehovah God.

PSALM 22 without a doubt in my mind. It was an answer to a question that had perplexed me for some time...it answered: Why did Christ say "Mat 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? "
Psalm 22 talks about Christ directly and begins with"
Psa 22:1 To the chief Musician upon Aijeleth Shahar, A Psalm of David. My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
Psa 22:2 O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
Psa 22:3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
Psa 22:4 Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.
Psa 22:5 They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.
Psa 22:6 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
Psa 22:7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,
Psa 22:8 He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.
Psa 22:9 But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.
Psa 22:10 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.
Psa 22:11 Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help. "
A later verse drove the concept home that Christ didn't
doubt .."How could He doubt, himself; being that He is God?"
Joh 11:42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.

4 You are not a God who takes pleasure in evil;
with you the wicked cannot dwell.
5 The arrogant cannot stand in your presence;
you hate all who do wrong.
6 You destroy those who tell lies;
bloodthirsty and deceitful men
the LORD abhors.
7 But I, by your great mercy,
will come into your house;
in reverence will I bow down
toward your holy temple.
8 Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness
because of my enemies—
make straight your way before me.
9 Not a word from their mouth can be trusted;
their heart is filled with destruction.
Their throat is an open grave;
with their tongue they speak deceit.
10 Declare them guilty, O God!
Let their intrigues be their downfall.
Banish them for their many sins,
for they have rebelled against you.
11 But let all who take refuge in you be glad;
let them ever sing for joy.
Spread your protection over them,
that those who love your name may rejoice in you.
12 For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous;
you surround them with your favor as with a shield.
