If you know he/she is the right one go ahead and get married... it doesn't matter if you know them for a week or 10 years... There is no right time when you meet the "right someone"

hey! nowadays ppl divorce so easily, and i'm getting so annoyed with it!!!!!!!!!! anyone eles?? anyways, i dated my new hubby for 4 1/2 years b4 we got married. How long should you wait? i'm totally not trying to be rude, but thats a kind of dumb question. I think you should have at least a couple of BIG debates (or arguments) and you should see the other person in a variety of situations. Know how they react and respond......At LEAST a year i think. Marriage is a huge, sacred thing. Respect it and dont rush into it.

Only wait as long as it takes to know that that is the right person. If you don't know in a couple of months and are even a little bit unsure, then leave.

they have this thing which they call "7-year-itch" meaning it takes 7 years to say that you absolutely know a person and that you can right well get married! but i think that's too much of a play-safer
