I agree with the first person who said that it's because females mature earlier. Usually a female at a certain age is more mature than a male at the same age (i.e. why insurance prices go down for a female before they go down for a male). I'm 21, and my boyfriend is 4 years older than me. What I see in him that I don't see in most guys my age is that he's ready to settle down..doesn't want to party, go out, do stupid stuff, wants to be in a committed relationship, whereas a lot of guys MY age want to go out, party, drink, not settle for one girl, and that's not what I'm looking for.

I for one don't like older men. In fact, lately I've been liking them younger. I'm 22 and I like a guy who is 20 (21 in August). I just don't dig guys that are more than a few years older than me. And by a few I mean 2 or 3.

Well, for me it's weird. The reason why I like older men is because they are really hot or just plain hot. But really, I usually don't know that they are older than me most of the time. It happens alot. The reason they like me is they think that I am hot or what ever, and I am as tall as them. Which they think that I am as old as them. Wrong. But I really don't know why girls like older men. Just that most of them are really cute so we fall in love.

one theory is females mature earlier than males so an older male/young female are equal.
the second older guys have/make more money.
