I know this is a really random question lol, but i was just wondering if anyone had any idea why this was, or if they even think its true. i have had a lot of friends fall for boys who are "bad" and i was wondering if anyone had any idea why. thanks for any help!

Bad boys represent danger, mystery and spontaneity. Girls like this for a while, but the problem is,,,, Bad boys never grow out of it, so when the girl is ready to grow up,,,, they are left raising a grown bad child. Their loss, because if girls were as grown up as they pretend to be,,,, they would know that a good Man is hard to find, and is someone who will help in life instead of drag you down. That is where the term " Nice Guys Finish Last " comes from. We see the girls go after the bad boys and we are left waiting for the girls to grow up.

I disagree with N there are some shy guy's who are bad boy's like me I'm shy but with me being in mid-teen at six foot two inch's and I wear all black and a Black Trench coat that has the baddest look some can get but I'm not like them A holes that call them selfs bad boy's they all want one thing "Sex" to me the bad boy they got going is to get all girl's they can find to be after them just to get the thing almost all guy's want "Sex" and that's what I say some can be mad about what I say but I don't really care there are more thing's to life then sex now I'm done and Gute Nacht to all I'm off

The eternal question. I think it is true that most women are attracted to a bad boy at some point in their life. However, many of them outgrow it and learn from the experience. There are, however, some women who just can't resist tying themselves to the worst possible choice.
I think it is often a passive-agressive response to anger toward parents or someone else. And sometimes they just don't think they can do any better and are subconsciously avoiding being rejected by "better" choices.

let's go to the whole "bad boy" stereotype. he's often good-looking, and he's known to be a "bad boy" because he's a player.
because of the stereotype as a player, he would know how to charm the girls and girls would fall for that trap. and many girls constantly believe that they'll be the girl to change the guy. or maybe he really does like her. or maybe they're just shallow and happy that they can get with a guy so hot.

Those kind of guys are usually outgoing, and even a bit dangerous. This may just be the kind of person to draw some kind of emotion from them. People get bored living content lives, although they may be happy they certainly are not excited. This excitement of not being sure what is going to happen, in a sick way spontanious behaviour is sexy, attractive, and fun.
It could also be they are just borring people, that really don't go beyond their usual daily lives; and don't want to become that person but being with them, they can feed of the thrill of being the bad person.

Not all girls like bad boys. but some do . girls liking bad boys are characterless. there liking is not true and if u have noticed those bad boys r generally very rich persons and the girls flirt with them and exploit them.

The girls who like bad boys are usually insecure who believe that a "bad boy", who if you stereotype him completely must be tough and able to take care of himself and those around him, will provide them security and will protect them. Usually though, the bad boy treats them like **** and/or beats them, so why they remain with the bad boy is beyond me. It probably has something to do with the obsession of having something to complain about.

Well when some girls go for that. From my understanding its because they are not 100 percent secure about themselves. And having a bad bod can make them feel more safe. But in some case that is the wrong choice to make cause it can actually hurt more. from my point of view and what i've seen.
