Go to the vet and get blood work done.
It's better to be safe than sorry.

Listen, dearest dearest... if you so much as SUSPECT that the cat food is tainted and part of the recalled group, STOP giving it to your cats. The symptoms of kidney failure are vomiting, loss of appetite, lethargy, frequent urination, frequent drinking (although some cats will refuse to drink and stop urinating).
I've been feeding my cats IAMS weight control and Eukenuba - both in cans. Fortunately, neither the IAMS nor the Eukenuba were in the specified batch of tainted rpoducst (big sigh of relief). Nevertheess, I went and returned ALL of them and with the refund money, bought cat food that was not in the list. (I bought Natural Balance an Castor and Pollux).

When you go to search you put in recalled cat & Dog food then you will see a story and in that story you will see a link and click on that and it will bring up 2 other links on the left side of the screen and click on the cat food and it will show a list. Its on Yhaoo News. They are taking off wet food and pouches that are cat food and Dog food.

FIRST AND FOREMOST STOP FEEDING THE FOOD! I have started mine on a homemade diet of chicken, rice and tuna so I know they are safe till they know what the problem is and where it came from. If a cat is sick it will vomit, have bad poops, be tierd, etc. If you have any concern take him to the vet imediatly as cats die from this in 24 hours.

Call your vet and ask what to watch for. I am sure that lots of nervous owners will check with the vet. Youcould try the "800" in the article and ask what kind of sickness has been reported.

Hopefully the cats are fine. It doesn't hurt to ask.

I think they vomit or quit eating if they are sick.
I am pretty sure it is the pouches of wet boods or canned foods that is on the list. The list is online.
I hope they are fine.

Um, I sure that they would be vomiting or get diarrhea. Perhaps get de-hydrated and be tired/inactive.
