This guy is my partner in class and he thinks I'm hot and touched me on my back, like my bra strap area very gently. but he doesn't hold a decent conversation with me and when I try to start one, he wouldn't say much. Though he smiles at me often. I'm just wondering does he like me as a person or just acting this way because I'm just another "thing" pertaining to sex?

Most Definetely probably likes you, as far as his intent being to be with you and treat you well, or just some uknow...I dunno, but I think a lot of guys, if they like you a lot, are dumbstruck stupid nervous-so theres a good chance hes tottally into you, and thats why u two cant hardly talk easily
Maybe you should see if thats it, by tryin to help him out of his shell, and straight up ask him, if hes into you?
Throw the guy a line he's probably been treadin water around you tryin to get his nerve up to ask you out or to get with him in some elegant macho way that you wont be able to resist, but has all the seductive charm of forrest gump.

if the guy does not even respect you by immediately touching your bra then indeed he just sees you as a thing" if he even liked you he would respect you, and since he cant even talk to you, when you are starting the conversation, i say he is good for nothing who has nothing on his mind, and no intelligence at all, and my oh my why would you even want to be involved with someone who thinks that you are his property by being angry with boys you hang out with, i say he has no right, and i can 100% say he is not a man!
i would immediately stay away from someone who cant even give me a decent conversation ,dont let him treat you as if you were cheap, you deserve better!

Yeah, most teen guys are at this insecure, hormonal, & confusing stage in life. Haha, He's more then likely interested in you...*not to sound nasty or anything* BUT could be just sexually as in he fantisies about you....Or he just might see something special in you that makes his heart skip a beat....Who really knows? All you can do is wait, be nice & just well be who you are & see what happens...

sounds like he might be attrated to you - but if he can't hold a decent conversation with you why are you interested in him? He can't be interested in much of your personality right now, as it doesn't seem like you've spent enough time with him for him to be able to be attracted to you for anything beyond sex!
