If it were possible to have lettering small enough, I'd get what looks like a small fabric care label: "Beautiful, Inc. Made with Love in USA, hand wash, gently dry, caress regularly, apply lotion liberally, Size M.", you get the picture! ;)
If not, I'd probably get a celtic cross or my zodiac sign.

some cool ones ive seen:
a bow, wings, an initial in old english (just one letter), a rose, a lily, a line drawing of a dove, a line drawing of a tree, a leaf, a feather SIMPLE.
the key is to keep everything simple becasue over time the tattoo blurrs and ends up looking disgusting.
get it done with a VERY thin line and keep the ink to dark colors because they fade.. then have it done as just an outline, DO NOT have them fill it in.
personally i dont like tattoos because of their lack of permanence, and the neck is a very risky place to get it, most respectable artists wont do the neck until they think the person is ready, when you ahve it on your neck you are leaving it open to all eyes, unless you cover it with your hair. really think abotu it, you can never wear your hair up again if you work somewhere you cant have tattoos.
think about it. then if youre sure, find an image that has meaning to you.. something worth permanently drawing on your body.
the skin on the neck is very thin and close to oyur nerves so be wary that you can tolerate pain!

I would get a Dragon, I've always liked them since I was a kid......Or one that I really want is roman numerals of the day I met the Love of my life....also I always liked the idea of a crecent moon...I think the neck is a great place for a tattoo, because its discreet and classy.

I saw this line drawing of a baby angel on yahoo images a while ago..It was soooo simple but it was so adorable at the same time. It was just plain and dainty. I'd get something like that.

Maybe get your birth symbol, then put a celtic braid around it. It would be unique for you because its your birth symbol. You can mix in plenty of color too! The ideas are endless! Explore awhile and enjoy the journey! Good luck!

Well I've never wanted a tattoo but IF I had to get one, I'd want it very simple or very unique. I think a simple outline of a heart for simple or unique? hmmmm Something that displays my interests.... butterflies are overdone so not that. I think it would have to say something in Spanish.

I would get a panda cause its my favortie animal. For something original I would get a heart with a snake coming out of it. If your more girlie I would get a butterfly.

i would get something celestial, like a half sun and half moon design. or i would get alibata script. i already have a tribal sun...
