Elijah comes close, but my choice would be John the Baptist, as Christians believe he is the forerunner of Jesus and in my read of the Bible, he is the secondmost spiritually informed person in the book. I would also like to meet Thomas, as he was one of the more intellectually honest figures in the Bible and a true thinker.

That is a REALLY good question... I'm gonna cheat a little bit and choose one from the Old Testament: Eve (I would love to talk to that sister) and the New Testament: the woman with the issue of blood (what made her not give up and what made her crawl through the crowd to touch the hem of Jesus's garment).

There are so many more women I would love to sit and talk with... faced with the adversities of their times, the mindset of those times, they still persevered.

I would bring back Mary, the mother of Jesus, because I would love to know both the joys, and the hardships of having the Son of God as her son.

#1 David. Love how he battle Goliath

#2 Samson. The strength of one man.

#3 Joseph. He was hated on by his brothers. Anyone who is player hated this much by family members I have GOT to meet.

Mary the Magdalene. I would love to hear her tell HER side of what happens in the Gospels. I really think that her importance is way underestimated by the writers of the New Testament, simply because they were male.

Apostle John - I'd love to hear his talk about being on the island of Pathos and writing the Book of Revelation.

Paul was the model follower of Jesus, and his spiritual knowledge appears unparalleled. I would love to have a spiritual conversation with him about his conversion, and the strict guidlines he subjected himself and his life to.

I would choose Moses. Or maybe David or Job. I would have to think long and hard about it, but most likely Job. We just finished studying Job in school and he is such an awesome character of faith. You should study him sometime.
