We've been training for Track for a while now since January 29. Ive been working with the long distance people (run 800, 1600,3200), but its pretty hard. I want to instead do jumping but we are already a 3rd into the season. My coach wouldn't mind me but im wondering if i should or if i should keep with long distance?

This isn't really a relationship question but uh. I'm a senior in high school and ive been running the 3200 and 1600 mainly but ive delved into the 800. If you're not good at running long distance, you're just not, I mean it's been over a month of training right, you should at least be where you think you're good. Now if you're just lazy but you're improving then don't give up, but if you really don't like it and you're not improving then please do what you want to do- dont waste your time!

Definatly try it. I was in track in high school. I wound up being one of the best in field events and the only way I tried it was because I was tagging along a senior for an interview.
You should try everything that you are interested in. You never know what your specail talent will be. Also, if you really have a good coach they will also help you in your goal to find the perfect fit for you.
Best of luck,. , you never know, you might be the best in just the last 1/3 of the season. You willl never know until you try.
