Agnostic, but I will answer anyway.

I have never had faith in any God(s).
Growing up , I had friends and family who where theists, but the answer I got from my parents when I asked them about God(s) origin and afterlife was ~ " What do you think? "

I was a catholic for the first 19 years of my life. I decided religions were too hypocritical of each other and decided to worship 'god' on my own. I attended a few different types of churches over the years but never became a member of any of them. I always questioned everything since I was real young. Over the years, I started questioning more frequently and bought many different books that either gave me answers or gave me possible answers...answers that made more sense to me than any bible or church. Finally, at around 30 years old I came into my current status. I am now 35 years old. I am more at peace with myself and feel less stressed which is suprising considering all the hate, destruction, and abuse in this world that is pretty much in my face everyday from TVs, newspapers, & what people discuss. I don't like to put myself in the catagory of an atheist although that is what I am considered. I consider myself a truth seeker or seeker of knowledge. I am an average person. I don't consider myself anything special. I just want as much knowledge and as much truth as I can possibly receive so long as I am alive in this life for self growth and fulfillment.

I did, but I stopped believing when I realized big foot wasn't real, or Santa Clause; just people talking crazy of things that just can't be real in a world that is comprised of natural laws. Just as many say God is infinite which never had a creator, I believe the same concept could be applied to the universe. If God never had a creator, who's to say the universe has one? With many other religions as well with other Gods, it can also be hard to prove which God, or which one is the true prophet.

I was raised Lutheran, went to Sunday school, was a member of the church choir, the youth group and went to Confirmation classes. I cannot honestly say that I ever really truly believed though. Since the day I was confirmed in 8th grade I have not stepped foot into a church other then weddings and funerals. Oops, there was one time a few years back I went to talk to a pastor about my son's beliefs and my lack of faith but he only tried to convince me that God exists. He didn't try to help me deal with my issues which only pushed me farther from the church.

i think part of it comes from the fact that my parents didn't practice what they "preached" (no pun intended). They never went to church and god was never talked about in my home growing up, but they forced us kids to go.

To me God is too great a concept to grasp. Science just makes more sense. I'm still open to all possibilities although I feel that the proof is in the pudding (science).

I am an atheist now.

I was catholic from about 4 years old to 9 years old. I believed in god then, and I even went to parochial school.

From 10 onwards, I was an atheist.

Not sure exactly what an atheist is. I think taking any stand on such an arbitrary question is laughable. If Atheist means no religion then that's what I am, but I don't care if others like to think about comforting things.

I was raised Mormon, and I was one of the youth leader types... seminary president etc...

I was raised in church by my parents, my dad is a preacher. I don't believe in God anymore. If there is a God, I don't believe any of us could ever know him. That accounts for so many different religions on the earth. How could they all be right? Yet they all believe that "their" religion is the ONLY way to heaven. Most of them teach that if you are not a part of their religion you are going to hell, or some such place. They obviously can't all be right, so logically therefore, they must all be wrong.

I know you said not to answer this, but I am anyway. I am Catholic Christian, and I go to a Catholic school. There, surprising enough, I met a girl, Kenna, who was raised by two atheists. Now, she is only 14, but she claims toi have never believed in God.

I was a Christian for a good portion of my life. As soon as i became more educated I started to slowly come away from religion. I didn't wake up one morning and decide to be an atheist. It was a long and slow process because i started to piece things together to get where i am now.

both happen pretty frequently. but you have to make sure "believe" reallly means what you think it means. when someone genuinely believes in God and then stops, it can be for a personal reason (tragedy, prayers not answered). But some people are naturally skeptical of many things that are hard to prove, including God. I think it's a more natural position, but the former believers are valuable too becasue they can relate to both sides.

I have always been skeptical, but I did accept what I was taught as a child.
I was at the ripe old age of 6 when I figured out Jesus, Santa, and the Easter Bunny were all fake.
