at the bellagio they will not let you even enter the building without confirming that you are at least 18. in some casinos they will check you at the door or when you enter the gambling floor to make sure you are at least 18. after that usually the only time they will check your id is if you are getting an alcoholic drink or when trying to collect your earnings. if the casino doesn't check at the door it is usually done when you are noticed by an employee of the casino (it sorta depends on what type of gambling you are doing). the casinos do check but it varies on how they do it.

Sure do. When I went to vegas as a teenager, they wouldn't even allow me to PAUSE at a table. Like I had to keep walking in a casino. Soon as a stopped they asked for ID. At least any non-sketch casinos. They have a reputation to maintain!

I went to Vegas when I was 27 and most casinos didn't check at all, but the Imperial Palace checked me and my friends I.D.s 3 times while we sat at the same table within 2 hours time.

I can't speak for AC, but Vegas WILL card you. I've been carded at least once in every casino I've ever been to, and sometimes twice in one day, by the same dealer.

There are big fines for casinos that get caught letting underage people into their casinos. So if you look underage they will card you and kick you out.

They don't card you at the door if that's what you're asking, but if you appear young, security may come and ask you to present ID.
Also, if you win and go to the cage to cash in winnings, they may also check your ID and validate your age.
