The Troops and Familys At Home. I'm Aware That Useing The Flag In A Patriotic Fashion Other Then Waving On A Pole ,,Is Okay. But I Care More Of Anything That Might Happen If Just 1 Person Finds It Out Of LIne.(Which Is An Offence To ME) I Send Care Pkgs, Tried Cakes.. Bad Idea That Was. Now I'm Trying Candy. I Gave My Thoughts To A Local Radio Station. They Loved It Until,, 1 Person Thought It Was Promoting The War. I Just Want To Help. I Never Give Up But The Squeeky Wheel Is Most Certinly Having More Of A Voice Then My Love And Support For The Ones I Call Heros Is Having .The Afgain Is Beautiful, But More Then That It Was Made With Love.. Opinions Please.No Soap Box I'm On. I Just Want To Help, The Heros And Their Familys. So Others Can Complain About Them

I am presuming that you made an afghan that looks like an American flag. WONDERFUL!!! Don't let anyone say anything bad. You worked long and hard on it (I would know, I crochet!) and you should be proud to be able to support our troops, to Heck with anyone who criticizes you!
PS Mind if I "borrow" the idea and make one or a few of my own to donate?

Good for you girl, god bless you and let me say thank you for supporting the men and women of our great nation, I had received several care packages, in one of them was a small bag of candy, inside that was a 25 cent gumball, I cannot explain truly in words but what i fealt at that time when i put that gumball in my mouth, it was like all the troubles of the day had gone away, simple things like that is what i liked, next thing you know, i started getting buckets of red white and blue bubble gum, they went over great with the troops as we share everything, at least i did, anyway, God Bless You and Keep You safe.
Also, dont let one person discourage you in your efforts to aid the troops, you are doing a fine and admirable thing.
