my fiance is suffering from bad pain in her gums and can't get any help from a dentist till she schedules an appointment tomorrow but i don't want her to be in pain all night and till she can get into the emergency room tomorrow. i was wondering if there was something other than ibuprofen or or that gum numbing stuff(sorry i'm out of it. it's a gel for numbing tooth and gum pain).

dentists use topical anesthetic to numb surrounding tissues before the injection. I don't know if this is available in drug stores though. You can try. It's gel-like and usually comes flavored. If you can't find that, the best is anti-inflammatory medication (over-the-counter). Hope she feels better soon!

Brushing, flossing, rinsing the mouth with Hydrogen peroxide being very careful not to swallow any and she can use Glyoxide for her gums. You can buy it at the drug store.

Ask the pharmacist for a good pain numbing medicine.

I guess praying would be a "god" remedy.
