hi! just wanted to know whats up with the OVERDRAFT plan that comes with wamus debit card.

do they pay for your overdraft fee?
or for example if you went over $20 they'll pay the $20

i just dont get it and i need help because i want to open an account

They wave 1 overdraft fee per year. That is the Fee associated with the overdraft is not assessed. That does not mean that you don't have to pay the overdraft amount back.

So if you overdrafted by $80.00 they will pay the $80.00 check, you will not be assessed the fee but you need to pay back the $80.00. You only have a set time to do this or they will charge you additional penalties.

If this is your main worry on opening an account you need to be very careful with your money. It sounds like you are thinking of bouncing a few checks and if you make a habbit of it, the fees will kill you.

They have a ONE time overdraft protection fee. Yes, they'll throw away one of your overdraft fees from your statement.

Just don't overdraft and you won't have to worry :D

I know a friend that kept making that mistake and he racked up over $300 dollars worth of fees.

They will pay the overdraft and the limit is 500.00. Everytime you overdraft with them though, they charge you a fee of 32.00, so try your best not to get caught in that vicious cycle.

overdraft fee is like 27 dollars
