The USA military was in the area but did not respond due to knowing the war is going badly. Many troops say this will end up like another Vietnam.

You know I *almost* believed you this time... I know of similar events that have occured... not uncommon to hear of anti-AQI (al Qaeda in Iraq) being kidnapped, tortured, executed etc.

But ya blew it with your last 2 sentences... "did not respond due to knowing the war is going badly"??? What the hell kind of news report is that? First, the statement itself is ridiculous because 1) we don't get to pick and choose what events we respond to and 2) an event like that would be handled by ISF (Iraqi Security Forces, either Army or Police).

i does not say Iraqi insurgents as an entire have larger values than American troops. having mentioned that, it is ignorant for persons to easily assume they conflict because of the fact they are religious enthusiasts or they are from the Western-hating crowd. If a guy's united states of america replaced into invaded and occupied for any reason, no longer to show a doubtful one, who's to assert he won't sense forced to stand up to? there is not any crucial 'insurrection' team offering all the assaults and murders occurring - certainly, some combat the two occupiers and one yet another.

Its not the "troops" fault, it's your elected politicians that will not let the Army fight, do you know what the "ROE" is, I didn't think so, like many Americans they know little to nothing about what's going on except what "fox news" feeds them. ROE, (Rules of Engagement) which is directed by the secretary of defense, whom directs the Field commanders. I am retired Army, 20 yrs retired in 2002, I have been to Iraq twice, and now in Afghanistan as a civilian, And if they wanted us to win we could have long ago, but there are alot of "rules" put on soldiers, you can hardly defend yourself without getting a investigation launched against you for why you shot someone.
