It isn't about age, it is about them believing.

No no no no no Evander was a great little fighter he fought bigger than what he is but father time will beat us all can he still fight yes but not at championship level any more. He wont get hurt but when a fighter feels good and is in the kind of shape Evander is in you think you cam still walk through wall but when he does walk into a wall he will wish he never got into the ring that night one more thing all heavy weight fighters fight one fight to many and Evander is headed down that road he should call Ali , Larry Holmes, Greg Page Evander please stop now you have nothing to prove

No, Evander is not, and will not be the Real Deal until he beats some quality opposition. Which is probably not going to happen.

That said, he is somehow ranked as the number 13 comtender by WBO. I wonder how much he had to pay for that priveilege.

Absolutely not. Holyfield should retire and stay retired. No more comebacks please. He's too old to box and it's too obvious from his last several fights that his once mighty skills have deserted him. Furthermore, the wear and tear from too many tough fights in his career has taken its toll on his body. He's just risking permanent damage or injury from hanging on too long.

It's different with Foreman because he had a 10-year hiatus before he came back. Besides, most of Big George's fights did not last the distance and he was seldom in a tough fight. Hence, he wasn't really a battered fighter even in his 40's.

No. Evander is different from Foreman, who had a much longer break from the sport and was much more imposingly built. Evander should have stayed retired.

no. evander has taken too much damage and the when forman was the heavyweight champ, you didn't have 6'6 250 pound technical fighters. forman only won the fight and the championship because he was able to knock out moorer. he didn't out box him

the real deal is actualy evnder holyfeld. his nickname is that because he is good in boxing. i think that he wil regain it if it is vacated because the boxing comitee has to give it to him and proclaim him new champion if there is none. he deserve it very much.

No. He wasn't real before either. He headbutts everybody.
The guy should quit and go count his money before he gets hurt.
