why do we all waste money ?

I cant help but think about all the money i have wasted on crap

Eg I must spend about £150 month on takeaways

I also Bet and Gamble about £ 100

I have been doing this the past 2 years !

Anyone else Waste there money ?

thats what its there for, who wants to save for 60 years then become old and then your children want you dead so they can get their hands on it..or its all eaten up in nursing home fees.

spend and enjoy, dont feel guilty whatsoever.

Its the addictive qualities of these things. I do the same. Best thing to do is when you've got no money write a list of what you want to do with the next pay cheque and take it to the cashpoint when you draw out your wages. Do it early in the morning so the pub/betting shop/take away isn't open and spend then. You may then have something to show for it at the end of the week.

BUT REMEMBER

(1) You are here to live your life, not worry about it.

(2) Think about what takeaways are doing to your health. (don't worry about the money aspect)

(3) Is the gambling under control (not causing a problem for yourself or others.

If you are going to gamble build up a bankroll and play games with a high win ratio. Naturally as risk decreases so does return. So you need to put mad money in for each bet or play the game repeatedly. Games with large winnings are usually bait for greedy suckers.

Most people know the saving part, but thats only half the equation. You need to take action with that bankroll not just let some banker make money off of it.

I do it all the time. I think it is a way to escape the mudane existence of our lives.

Sometimes things get so boring we think if we waste some money that will keep us entertained and then we find we have to spend more and more to get the same high as before so in the long run it is not a good thing to do.

I know what you mean, i spend my money on so much crap its silly. The thing is, that's what we really live to do, we go to work to earn money to spend it. There are so many things that you can spend money on. If we didn't have money we couldn't buy all that crap that we wanted.
I don't gamble, i do think it is a waste of money, so if you can, STOP!

Hi i dont personally think you waste youre money cos youre enjoying your life but try to buy better food for the sake of youre health as for the gambling it is a hobby like me and my model building enjoy life and forget it at least you dont buy gadget crap use it once and stuff it in the bottom drawer like a lot of materialistic people who buy the latest car cos its techno mine gets me about-period my mobile is the size of a brick but it works youre okay mate keep on enjoying life and dont worry-cheers

dropping time because then the money you dont spend it may ward off. If i bypass out after I dont favor to in undemanding words to waste time im always spending money on ineffective junk and after a at the same time as it gives you up.

I have no money to waste, the closest I come is buying real juice instead of crystals, but that's really for my daughter... we don't eat out, go to movies, take cabs, etc. And even so it's all I can do to keep bread and milk in the house.

We all waste all kinds of money all the time, it's just life. I found I was wasting so much money living in the UK, I moved to the US. The cost of living is way less here, so now I don't waste as much money!

We all buy things that we don't really need. As for why we do it i don't know. But as for gambling people want to have fun and enjoy themselves to escape the grind of the work week and everyday stress of life.

My kids are good at spending my dosh.

But if it helps to ease your soul,why not take out a standing order and give each month to a charity,it doesn't need to be alot just a couple of quid.
