I AM HEARTBROKEN...I WAITED 36 YRS TO GET BETTY, BETTY IS A 1997 WHITE WRANGLER WITH A BLACK HARD TOP. SHE WAS MY WEDDING, HONEYMOON AND 26TH ANNIVERY GIFT. AN IRISH SHALALEE (CANE) WAS ALSO IN MY JEEP. I'M HANDICAPPED. BUT, MORE I NEED BETTY BACK, CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME,

Don't worry.... auto theft is one of the most often-solved crimes. Your car will turn up. Sad as it seems, whoever took your car probably drove your car for a day or so and just parked it somewhere (apartment complex parking lot, a street with little traffic, etc).

Once someone notices that the car has been abandoned, they'll call it into the police and the police will get it back to you. The police also routinely run plates/VINs of cars that don't appear to have moved in a while.

If anything bad had happened to your car (crashed, stripped, etc), you probably would have known by now - because it would have been called in right away.

For what its worth, I'll keep your car in mind. I live in Downtown San Jose and will let the police know if I see it.
