Hello, I am extremely worried right now because I have been feeding both of my dogs a particular brand of dog food from Save-A-Lot Discount stores, and according to the Menu Foods website, certain brands of Save-A-Lot dog food are apart of the massive recall of dog and cat food. The particular dog food that I buy, I don't know it's exact name, but it comes in a can with red labels with blue writing. Does anyone know the exact name of this brand is? It's not the chunky bits with gravy stuff or lamb and rice stuff, it's more like light brown (similar to spam in texture). Both of my dogs are fine right now, I don't see any abnormal behavior but I am still very worried.

hi, i know this issue is very scary! my dog died suddenly a few weeks ago and now hearing about the recall it makes me wonder! i was feeding her Authority dog food but the dry version so, so far, that is not being one of the "target" problems. here is the site to ck out the ones listed as being potential problems. also, i called petsmart today (where i bought her dog food from) and they said that they were getting updates during the day today. anyway, here is the website and im sorry i dont know the name of the food you are trying to identify. best to you and your beloved pets

The best thing to do if you are unsure is to
1) Stop feeding it to your dogs
and
2) Call the 800 on the Menu Foods website to verify by the description of the can.

Watch your dogs for any abnormal activity in their stools and attitude.

It seems to be the "slices in gravy" kind of dog food but if I were you, I would be safe and throw it all away!
Buy a bag of dog food or get some canned Pedigree, it's not on the list.
Better safe than sorry in my book!

Is it the brand Morsels? Look on the can for the UPC and expiration date. If they are on the list, then they are under the recall. If the UPC and date do not match, then you are just fine.
